The bar and snug are warm and friendly all year round, with fires burning in the cold winter months to complete the ambience.
We have a range of cask ales, fine wines, spirits, and soft drinks for your enjoyment.
The Red Lion features in the CAMRA good beer guide. During 2000 we were voted Norfolk and Norwich CAMRA branch pub of the year. This followed being voted Pub of the Trail in the CAMRA winter ale trail, and we also came third in the East Anglian Pub of the year. During 1999 Bruce Berry, your landlord, was awarded the Cask Marque Certificate of Excellence for the outstanding quality of the range of cask ales served. In July 2001, Norfolk and Norwich CAMRA voted the Red Lion to be the County Mild Pub of the year.
