Bruce and Mandy Berry recently celebrated their tenth anniversary at The Red Lion, during this time they have won many awards.
During 1999 Bruce Berry, the Landlord was awarded the Cask Marque Certificate of Excellence for the outstanding quality of the range of cask ales served.
In 2000 we were voted Norfolk and Norwich CAMRA branch pub of the year, Pub of the Trail in the CAMRA winter trail and we came third in the East Anglian pub of the year.
In July 2001, Norfolk and Norwich CAMRA voted The Red Lion to be County Mild Pub of the year.
More recently in September 2006, Greene King Brewing Company named us East Anglian Pub of the year.
In September 2007 we were named Greene King’s Free Trade National Community Pub of the year.
