The Red Lion had been closed for approximately seven years before being re-opened in February 1997 following our extensive refurbishment. The work included the restoration of the original fireplaces and one of the main features of the pub; the "snug" which is one of only two of its kind in East Anglia.

Sunday 2nd June - CORONATION BEAT - A mini music festival featuring local bands: 'PADDY'S CRAIC', 'THE RED LION JAZZ BAND' & 'CAPTAIN KIRK'S MANDOLIN'. BBQ & Ice-Creams. Fun for the whole family!
